My name is Marita Gauden and I live in Norway - Karmøy.

I work in nursing homes and have previously worked as a hairdresser. 

And i use my free time to paint. Drawing and paint I have been a hobby since I was a child and I am self-taught. 

when I paint i feel calm and it gives me joy and energy, it is like a form of meditation for me. 

 I like to paint abstract, semi abstract in nature tones, and with colors that give a sense of calm and harmony to the home. One of the things that inspires me when I paint is nature and interior. I paint with acrylic paint, and molding paste is used in the paintings for and create texture. I use different techniques and tools when painting, i use pencil , my hands, catalyst wedge, silk paper, palette knives and sponge. I hope i can bring  a positive and warm atmosphere with my art.
